This gillet is white with a black pattern. This vest features lightweight nylon windbreaker material on the front. The rear features stretchy mesh backing with 3 large pockets. A great extra layer to keep your core warm, whilst still being breathable whilst you sweat.
The material is breathable and lightweight. It scrunches up easily to fit in your jersey pocket - our vest has all the qualities of the big brands, but at a smidge of the price!
Having a wide and thick chamois can cause excess chafe, much like having the wrong size saddle. We have extensively tested over 50 chamois styles in the making of our famous bibs and this one is head and heels above the rest. Loved by men and women of all shapes and sizes, it really does work! See the 3 levels of the chamois here? Thats 3 different types (densities) of foam, ranging from 3mm, to 7mm, to 13mm deep! This means that you are protected where you are actually sitting (sit bones and perennial pressure points) and covered up where you want (and need) it most!
The triple density 13mm foam has been used where it matters most, because it means we get no nasty pinching whilst riding. Our layering techniques (3, 7 and 13mm sections) mean it doesn’t feel like we have a piece of folded cardboard between our legs.
